A delightful stay with character

The charming vintage decor made our stay feel special. The spacious room was a peaceful retreat, and the hotel’s location let us stroll to iconic sites like Charles Bridge and the castle effortlessly.

However, the lack of a fridge was disappointing in the heat. The sliding bathroom door, while stylish, offered less privacy than we would have liked, and the breakfast could use more variety.

Unfortunately, the staff’s friendliness was lacking, which made interactions feel a bit cold. I also encountered some noise disturbances from outside as the hotel is situated in a bustling area. The absence of an elevator was quite inconvenient, especially on the third floor after a long day of exploring.

During my stay as a solo traveler, I was thrilled with the large room that had plenty of character. I particularly enjoyed the vintage features and the comfortable bed that made my time there relaxing after exploring the nearby sites like the Charles Bridge and Lennon Wall, which were really close by. The sound isolation in the room was a plus, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep despite being in a busy area. The buffet breakfast had a solid selection that kept me fueled for my daily adventures.

U Schnellu is the perfect place to explore Prague on foot, tram, or metro, being right near the castle and Charles Bridge. Our room was spacious, nicely cleaned daily, and had a comfortable bed. We loved the buffet breakfast with plenty of options!
